Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models, algorithms, and systems to address complex business challenges across recommendation systems, search, computer vision, supply chain management, pricing, forecasting, trend analysis, virality prediction, generative AI, and related domains.
- Apply machine learning principles and techniques to build scalable and effective solutions, leveraging expertise in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, recommender systems, and optimization.
- Develop and implement robust, reliable, and production-ready software solutions to support machine learning model deployment and integration.
- Assist in maintaining end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data preparation, data cleaning, feature engineering, and model training activities.
- Monitor and evaluate machine learning model performance using statistical and analytical methods to ensure accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Data Platform teams to understand business requirements and collect, process, and utilize relevant data for machine learning initiatives.
- Perform performance testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and tuning of machine learning models and associated systems.
- Research and stay updated on emerging machine learning technologies, industry trends, and advancements, and share relevant knowledge and best practices across teams.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of machine learning frameworks, tools, and processes to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable machine learning solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python or another high-level programming language.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including regression, clustering, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, neural networks, and other supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Experience in developing machine learning models using Python or equivalent programming languages.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Understanding of recommender systems and computer vision concepts.
- Experience working with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
- Ability to effectively manage priorities, organize workload, and support team objectives.
- Familiarity with Generative AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Exposure to Generative AI models and applications is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Publications or presentations in recognized Machine Learning or Data Science journals, conferences, or industry forums.
- Hands-on exposure to Generative AI models and technologies.
- Experience contributing to research-oriented machine learning or data science projects.
