Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Report Execution and Maintenance:
- Execute monthly refreshes and distribute multiple Microsoft Power BI reports in accordance with established schedules and timelines.
- Monitor data refresh processes, identify issues, and troubleshoot basic failures to ensure report accuracy, reliability, and availability.
- Perform routine data validation and quality assurance checks to maintain the integrity of financial and operational reporting data.
- Maintain and update documentation related to report execution procedures, schedules, and operational guidelines.
Reporting Enhancement and Support:
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and tracking minor enhancement requests for existing Microsoft Power BI reports from stakeholders.
- Implement basic report modifications, including updating visuals, adjusting filters, and creating simple DAX measures under guidance.
- Support senior team members in testing, validating, and deploying report updates and enhancements.
- Provide end-user support by assisting with report navigation, functionality, and basic troubleshooting queries.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support the setup, coordination, and operational management of the S4E Integration Test Cycle (ITC) within one of SE’s largest business transformation programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Possess academic or personal project experience with Microsoft Power BI, which is considered highly advantageous.
- Demonstrate foundational knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and core data analysis concepts.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of data visualization principles and reporting best practices.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting activities.
- Maintain familiarity with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for report calculations and data modeling.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and data analysis capabilities.
- Possess an understanding of reporting concepts, data validation techniques, and quality assurance processes.
- Exhibit high attention to detail along with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Show a proactive mindset and strong eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
