Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using core Java technologies, including OOP concepts, Collections Framework, and Multi-Threading.
- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions using SQL.
- Build and enhance applications using Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Hibernate frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.
- Support and maintain the infrastructure estate across various DevOps and engineering platforms.
- Work with cloud and container technologies, including AWS Cloud and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Manage and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and CodePipeline.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and system stability across environments.
- Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
- Follow best practices in software development, DevOps, and system engineering processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hands-on experience working in Agile teams following DevOps principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Demonstrated professional ethics, accountability, and a high level of ownership in assigned responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Java 17+ and modern Java development practices.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Gauge, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, messaging systems such as Kafka, and streaming technologies.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and database testing methodologies.
- Ability to understand and work with complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and write efficient SELECT queries.
- Knowledge of Automation Testing, Manual Testing, API/Service Layer Testing, and Database Testing.
- Experience using WireMock for service virtualization and API mocking.
- Proficiency in GitHub version control operations, including advanced Git commands such as Rebase and Squashing.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot for development productivity and code assistance.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management and CI/CD tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
- Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
