Key Responsibilities:
- Perform programming tasks assigned by study project team leads, including creating, executing, maintaining, and validating programs for transferring and managing data across multiple data management systems and operating environments.
- Develop and validate programs using SAS and standard tools to combine data from multiple sources, generate summary datasets, and produce listings, tables, figures, and reports.
- Prepare, analyze, and manage clinical trial patient datasets such as laboratory data, vital signs, tumor response, imaging, quality of life questionnaires, and adverse events data for clinical research purposes.
- Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional project teams to analyze technical challenges and recommend technology-driven solutions and computational strategies.
- Develop customized code solutions to utilize existing tools and applications for generating or validating outputs related to clinical bioinformatics and technical processes.
- Contribute effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and assist with lead programming activities under management guidance and review.
- Ensure compliance with departmental work practice documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
- Support the development of informal training materials and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the department.
- Continuously enhance professional knowledge and technical expertise in programming, clinical trials, pharmaceutical industry practices, and emerging technologies through mentorship, training sessions, and departmental collaboration.
- Assist mentors in implementing best practices, documentation standards, and departmental policies to improve operational efficiency and quality.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field with the ability to perform job responsibilities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or an equivalent academic/vocational qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the role.
