Key Responsibilities:
- Front-Line Troubleshooting & Issue Triage: Monitor incoming tickets through Jira and ServiceNow, categorize them based on severity, and identify the underlying technical issues.
- Platform Support: Assist users with common Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tasks, including virtual machine restarts, Cloud Storage permission management, and Cloud SQL connectivity checks.
- Workspace Management: Manage daily Google Workspace (GWS) activities such as password resets, two-step verification (2SV) recovery, and resolving Shared Drive access issues.
- Runbook Execution: Follow standardized step-by-step runbooks and procedures to resolve known issues efficiently without escalation.
- Health Checks: Monitor Google Cloud Operations Suite for alerts related to CPU utilization, disk space, and service outages to ensure system stability.
- Log Analysis: Analyze logs using Cloud Logging and related tools to investigate issues and support troubleshooting activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Experience: Possess 0–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk operations, or cloud operations.
- Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical certification.
- GCP Knowledge: Demonstrate a basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networking.
- Certifications: Hold the Google Cloud Digital Leader certification (required), with the Associate Cloud Engineer certification considered an added advantage.
- AI Literacy: Exhibit familiarity with Generative AI tools (such as Gemini) to interpret code snippets and analyze error logs.
- Soft Skills: Apply strong English communication skills and maintain a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
