Key Responsibilities:
- Educate stakeholders on the capabilities of data science and set realistic expectations for outcomes.
- Analyze large volumes of data and design, implement, and deploy data-driven solutions.
- Communicate insights, results, and recommendations clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and drive improvements.
- Apply a strong technical foundation while understanding the business impact of data science initiatives.
- Demonstrate empathy towards users and contribute to enhancing overall user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to support their growth and development as data scientists.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, R, and Shell scripting.
- Strong expertise in querying relational, non-relational, and graph databases.
- Experience working with Big Data technologies, including Spark, MapReduce, Pig, and Hive.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries (for structured, text, and video data), preferably in Python.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience using data visualization libraries to present insights effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Practical experience with source control and deployment tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
