Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to backend development for Intersight management software (SaaS and on-premise appliance-based), including scoping, planning, design, implementation, testing, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Influence feature development by contributing ideas and enhancements to improve product quality and overall customer experience.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry best practices related to platform scalability and emerging technologies.
- Work within Agile teams, following continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Go, C++, Java, or Python, along with solid object-oriented design capabilities.
- Possess a strong foundation in distributed computing, data structures, and algorithms.
- Have a good understanding of Linux/Unix environments, including shell scripting and networking fundamentals.
- Be familiar with development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills:
- Have experience in software and product development, preferably in cloud computing and distributed systems within Linux and virtual machine environments.
- Demonstrate familiarity with virtualization technologies such as vSphere, Hyper-V, and KVM.
- Possess an understanding of microservices architecture using containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Show a strong work ethic and the ability to function effectively as a team player.
