Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data stewards and the data modernization team to ensure consistently high standards of data quality.
- Develop, support, and monitor automated threshold-based dashboards and reports to identify areas requiring investigation and improvement.
- Work closely with data stewards to ensure timely resolution of identified data quality issues.
- Analyze and evaluate data quality problems, clearly define issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by working on an evolving roadmap of initiatives in collaboration with data management, product, and IT teams.
- Perform data analysis and provide data quality assurance support to various teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and share knowledge across teams.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes, procedures, and tools for effective data analysis and insights generation.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a Business degree with relevant work experience.
- Have 2+ years of experience in data analysis and business insights, with a focus on improving and maintaining data quality practices.
- Possess 2+ years of experience in industries such as credit risk, financial services, marketing, fraud, insurance, or related domains.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Google BigQuery, Python, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
- Have experience in creating business and technical documentation, along with evaluating and improving existing processes and systems.
- Be proficient in business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Possess hands-on experience in delivering data-driven projects, including work in data governance, data warehousing, or analytics environments.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision to meet short-term (weekly/monthly) performance goals.
- Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Have experience in designing and building analytics solutions to address real-world business challenges.
- Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and the ability to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Possess Agile project management experience, including familiarity with tools such as Jira.
- Show proven ability to establish and enhance data quality functions that improve overall business performance.
- Have domain expertise in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
- Have experience applying generative AI to solve analytical and business problems.
