Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance new capabilities and features within the automation framework used by the QA team for test automation.
- Manage and maintain test coverage by generating and sharing periodic reports with engineering teams and key stakeholders.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert while providing hands-on support across single or multiple projects simultaneously.
- Execute tasks independently while effectively managing complex projects and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Design and implement optimal test strategies, including functional, non-functional, analytics, and automation testing, for both short-term and long-term projects.
- Prepare comprehensive test plans aligned with project requirements and quality objectives.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of software design patterns and apply them effectively in testing frameworks and automation solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 1–3 years of experience in automation testing, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation practices.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server.
- Have hands-on experience in Java-based test automation for developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Possess working knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, for test automation and scripting tasks.
- Exhibit hands-on exposure to modern backend and frontend technologies, including React.js, Angular, Golang, Servlets, Bootstrap, Input Stream Processing, JavaScript, and Node.js, which would be considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrate practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including TestNG, Maven, Selenium, Appium, HTTP Client, and REST/Web Services test automation.
- Possess a strong understanding of database queries and API testing, including the use of Rest Assured, SQL joins, and related database operations.
