Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvements in product quality by addressing customer rejections and improving internal yield performance.
  • Ensure the quality of output from the manufacturing line by tracking, analyzing, and resolving quality issues arising in production or from customer returns.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality teams to address supplier-related defects and coordinate with suppliers on RMA/RTV processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for part quality issues and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Validation and Verification (V&V) requirements during product and process evaluations.
  • Adhere to quality management systems and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards in all operational activities.
  • Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Manage equipment calibration activities, including coordination with calibration agencies and ensuring timely completion of periodic calibrations.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), release them for implementation, and provide training to production line operators.
  • Perform root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Define and maintain incoming acceptance plans for parts and materials.
  • Engage with customers to address quality concerns and drive product quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in Lean initiatives and implement Kaizen practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Respond to line breakdowns and drive timely fixes to minimize production downtime.
  • Work with equipment manufacturers to establish preventive controls and maintenance procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and develop teams effectively.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement best practices while working in environments with a high level of ambiguity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
