Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis and System Understanding:
- Develop a strong understanding of product and software requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
- Analyze information needs, system flows, data usage, and work processes to develop effective software solutions.
- Investigate problem areas by following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve system issues and problem statements.
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance and enhance application availability.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into feasible technical designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams and system analysts to perform detailed investigations into software requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers to gather information regarding software capabilities and project objectives.
Software Development and Coding:
- Evaluate requirements, problem definitions, and proposed solutions to determine operational feasibility.
- Perform coding activities to develop software modules that meet functional and technical requirements.
- Design and execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases to automate and validate software functionality.
- Modify and enhance software to fix defects, improve performance, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces.
- Analyze system information to recommend the installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.
- Ensure code quality by minimizing errors, addressing bugs, and resolving test failures.
- Prepare reports outlining programming specifications, development activities, and project status.
- Ensure that all code submissions follow established project, program, or account standards with clear descriptions and replication steps.
- Maintain timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports as required.
- Coordinate with team members to track daily project progress and maintain proper documentation.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, assess quality risks, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Engagement:
- Capture all project requirements and clarifications from clients to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collect and review regular feedback to ensure smooth execution and timely project delivery.
- Participate in ongoing learning and training programs to stay updated with best practices and emerging programming technologies.
- Consult with engineering teams to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and define system specifications and performance requirements.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through technical documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, charts, and well-commented code.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports throughout the software lifecycle, from client proposal to implementation.
- Ensure professional communication with customers through clear email correspondence, issue tracking, voice calls, and proper business etiquette.
- Provide timely responses to customer requests while maintaining high standards of service and minimizing internal or external complaints.
