Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all cost accounting activities as defined by organizational guidelines and processes.
- Understand corporate policies and monitor key cost accounting metrics to ensure compliance and performance tracking.
- Implement time-saving and cost-reduction initiatives through pocket kaizens and continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with the operations team to track and analyze reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups.
- Post month-end journal entries related to accruals and reclassifications in the ERP system.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with the latest processes and document them in the Document Management System (DMS).
- Learn the cost accounting function and serve as a backup for the Cost Accountant when required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess basic-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Exhibit strong analytical abilities and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Show willingness to learn and effectively apply acquired skills in day-to-day processes.
- Hold a B.Com, BBA (Finance), M.Com, or MBA (Finance) degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience (freshers may apply).
- Have good knowledge of MS Office and a sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to understand and interpret accounting policies accurately.
