Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Third-Party Due Diligence process, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating third-party risks during onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and termination stages.
- Maintain a strong understanding of various types of services and engagements with third-party service providers.
- Gather and evaluate service-related information from business units, complete compliance and risk assessments, and accurately update records in the designated risk management tools.
- Coordinate with Risk Partners to address queries and provide clarifications on submitted responses, while collaborating effectively with Lines of Business and other key stakeholders.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to identify and manage key risks and concerns associated with new and existing third-party relationships.
- Translate risk-related requirements and concerns into clear, actionable guidance for Lines of Business.
- Identify areas of strength and opportunities for improving business execution within the defined scope of work.
- Review and enhance strategies and action plans to establish effective processes that align with performance metrics and policy requirements.
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches aimed at improving support functions and overall business risk management performance.
- Proactively challenge Lines of Business during risk evaluations when necessary and ensure timely and appropriate communication throughout the process.
- Develop and maintain strong expertise in Enterprise Third-Party Risk Management policies and frameworks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ability to present well-structured recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches aimed at enhancing support function effectiveness and improving overall business risk management.
- Confidence to appropriately challenge Lines of Business during risk evaluations and provide timely, clear, and effective communication throughout the process.
- Strong knowledge of, and ability to develop expertise in, Enterprise Third-Party Risk Management policies and frameworks.
