Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and strengthen data governance frameworks by designing analytical controls to identify, monitor, and mitigate financial crimes risk.
- Integrate and govern internal and external data sources to generate reliable insights and enable effective monitoring for financial crimes prevention.
- Contribute to analytical initiatives focused on risk mitigation, data governance enhancement, and the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable reporting.
- Maintain and improve data quality, consistency, and documentation to ensure proper governance and usability of data assets.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple business units to ensure alignment on data definitions, governance controls, ownership, and reporting standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visual reports to monitor financial crimes risk, key performance indicators, and the effectiveness of control measures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field with relevant professional experience.
- Possess a postgraduate degree in Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline, which will be preferred.
Experience:
- Possess 1–3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, reporting, or data governance–related roles.
- Demonstrate experience supporting data governance, reporting, or analytics initiatives within risk domains such as credit risk, fraud risk, financial crimes risk, or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), which will be considered an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming and data processing tools such as Python, SQL, Hive, and PySpark.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques for data analysis, modeling, and insight generation.
- Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Excel VBA, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Exhibit strong capabilities in creating professional presentations and effectively communicating analytical findings.
- Demonstrate strong enterprise leadership behaviors, including ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Possess prior experience in the payments or financial services industry, which will be highly desirable.
