Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand organizational processes, tools, and workflows with guidance and mentoring from senior team members, while demonstrating enthusiasm and a proactive learning attitude.
- Develop a foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle, quality assurance principles, and the role of testing in ensuring product quality.
- Gain knowledge of quality tools, testing processes, and Agile Scrum methodologies, and apply them effectively in assigned tasks.
- Contribute feedback and suggestions to improve SFDC quality tools, processes, and overall testing efficiency.
- Build and enhance automation scripts with guidance, fix defects in existing automation, and contribute to increasing automated test coverage.
- Apply knowledge of object-oriented programming and database concepts, including writing basic SQL queries and using configuration management tools and IDEs.
- Support feature ownership under supervision, ensuring proper testing, validation, and quality assurance of assigned components.
- Understand customer workflows and usage patterns to design, prioritize, and optimize test cases, while avoiding redundant testing.
- Participate in usability studies to gain customer insights and use findings to enhance test coverage and quality.
- Create and maintain test plans, and collaborate with senior engineers to review and refine them before execution.
- Execute test plans accurately, including test setup, execution, failure identification, and reporting of results using internal monitoring tools.
- Identify, document, and report defects with clear reproduction steps, impact analysis, and accurate prioritization and severity classification.
- Verify bug fixes thoroughly and ensure proper test coverage before closing defects.
- Assist other engineers in executing tests, validating releases, and supporting release-related activities.
- Participate in reviewing escalated issues and support troubleshooting efforts under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support team members and new engineers by sharing knowledge and assisting with standard procedures and best practices.
- Manage assigned tasks effectively and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
- Identify and anticipate customer needs and ensure timely and effective resolution of issues to support customer success.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process improvements, and documentation.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ownership, accountability, and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance by following best practices and addressing root causes of issues.
- Design, build, and enhance AI-assisted tools using Large Language Models such as Cursor, Claude, and Windsurf.
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies, agent workflows, and orchestration frameworks to support advanced AI-driven use cases.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms, APIs, and internal systems to improve automation, testability, and productivity.
- Define and implement validation frameworks to ensure AI-generated outputs are accurate, safe, consistent, and relevant.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative evaluations of AI model responses, including hallucination detection, bias analysis, and edge-case testing.
- Establish benchmarks, automated test suites, and evaluation pipelines for AI-powered tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical leads to implement best practices in AI development, prompt engineering, and evaluation standards.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with internal quality standards, ethical guidelines, and data privacy requirements.
- Implement monitoring systems, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms to ensure reliability and stability of AI-generated outputs.
- Validate, evaluate, and benchmark AI and LLM-based solutions to ensure performance and effectiveness in real-world environments.
