Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the accounting and operational flow of business growth transactions across the Order-to-Cash cycle to design and deliver accurate business growth reporting, including external disclosures related to remaining performance obligations under ASC 606.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the end-to-end process to define, align, and implement processes that address financial reporting requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks through in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud products, Order-to-Cash systems, and effective cross-functional engagement.
- Document end-to-end business growth processes to support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting for business growth and performance obligations.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across multiple booking and reporting systems and oversee related Information Prepared by Entity (IPE) testing activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Have at least two years of experience in finance or treasury, including participation in cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrate experience with financial processes such as the Order-to-Cash cycle, including an understanding of associated risks and internal controls.
- Have experience improving business processes and financial systems, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Show the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives within a dynamic, global organization.
- Possess strong technical accounting expertise with a solid understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP.
- Exhibit excellent investigative and analytical skills (e.g., SQL), sound business judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership.
