Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a bridge between business challenges and technology solutions.
- Analyze and transform business problems, leveraging technology to develop effective solutions.
- Work with internal stakeholders and apply best-practice methodologies to determine business requirements and define solutions for process, information, and system improvements or changes.
- Deliver business projects in alignment with sponsor expectations and enterprise architecture standards.
- Proactively develop and deploy enhanced services and platforms, covering all functional aspects from definition through implementation.
- Identify and document operational gaps, including user guides, templates, test cases, and related training materials.
- Assist in resolving issues related to service delivery and functionality.
- Adhere to relevant development and support processes.
- Communicate and escalate issues when deliverables cannot be met, requesting assistance to ensure timely resolution.
- Take responsibility for delivering assigned project components with minimal supervision.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Project management certification is advantageous.
- Professional Business Analysis certification is preferred.
- IIBA membership is required.
- Relevant technology certifications, such as ITIL, are required.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of business practices and processes.
- Effective team player with a client service mindset and strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Expertise in specific systems, processes, and technologies relevant to business analysis.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional deliverables that meet business objectives.
- Strong documentation skills, including preparing functional requirements, test cases, system user documentation, workflows, procedures, and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with systems commonly used in service organizations, such as ServiceNow, Siebel, Remedy, SAP, and EMS, is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and experience applying ITIL tools within a service integrator environment.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within a technology services environment.
- Experience as a system administrator or developer is advantageous.
- Experience with operational aspects of a services business, preferably within a systems integrator.
- Proven experience in business requirement gathering, use case definition, process mapping, and implementing new services and systems.
