Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the Software Centre of Excellence, representing high-quality design and development practices.
- Collaborate with system engineers, front-end developers, and back-end developers to implement solutions and enhance shared platforms.
- Apply SDLC principles and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI (Configuration Item), Software and Product Security, scalability practices, documentation standards, refactoring techniques, and testing methods.
- Write code that meets quality standards and delivers required functionality using the project’s selected technologies.
- Develop features such as web services and queries on existing tables, while understanding performance parameters and evaluating application performance.
- Build and support enterprise integration flows using the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) framework to meet application requirements.
- Build and support low-code applications such as Microsoft PowerApps.
- Work to improve incident reduction, simplification, process efficiency, security, and compliance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in developing web applications using back-end technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, GraphQL, JMS, and JUnit.
- Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization for application deployment.
- Understanding of design patterns and best practices for building robust back-end applications.
- Proficiency in optimizing performance and addressing scalability issues.
- Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Ability to design and develop scalable, resilient system architectures.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
- Experience with database tools and languages such as SQL, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and Spring Data.
- Experience with software lifecycle management tools such as Maven and Git.
- Familiarity with cloud services.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in English.
