Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Summer Internship Program as a key initiative under the University Relations Program.
- Offer internship opportunities to talented students from leading technical universities in India.
- Provide interns with exposure to industry practices and access to world-class technologies.
- Engage interns in ongoing research projects within the lab, enabling them to contribute to real-world problem-solving with mentor guidance.
- Create an environment that allows students to showcase their skills and talents effectively.
- Deliver valuable industry experience to students while identifying potential future employees for the organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Excellent coding skills in Python, including proficiency with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
- Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, and Git.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning, classification, regression, neural networks, and clustering.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis for large datasets.
- Expertise in AI libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Practical experience with deep learning, foundation models, and large language models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with generative AI frameworks such as LangChain and Crew.ai.
- Strong skills in processing and analyzing unstructured data.
- Experience working with platforms such as Watsonx.ai or similar.
- Awareness of risks associated with AI deployments, including issues such as agents going rogue.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Additional experience with deep learning fundamentals, data manipulation and analysis for large datasets, and tools such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Strong working knowledge of AI libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Deeper expertise in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and Git.
