Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to guide internal and external clients from the initial request through to production go-live.
- Gather and analyze requirements, and evaluate technical specifications to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage capacity and throughput to meet client and system demands effectively.
- Coordinate testing activities to validate solutions before deployment.
- Oversee the change management process to ensure controlled and compliant implementations.
- Implement client-specific configurations and manage deployments according to requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with the business, engineering, and platform teams to deliver professional electronic trading solutions for Goldman Sachs’ clients.
- Enhance and streamline processes, applications, and tools to enable smooth client onboarding and operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the FIX Protocol, with experience in FIX certification and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with a particular focus on interacting effectively with external clients.
- Good working knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Good knowledge of connectivity concepts, networks, TCP/IP protocols, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages.
- Exposure to any asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, or FX.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with software release processes and version control systems is desirable.
