Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to perform desktop research, including gathering information from relevant databases on background details, ownership, financials, credit history, litigation, and other adverse findings as per the project scope.
- Conduct searches on watch lists, databases, and media sources to identify potential red flags such as negative publicity, political exposure, credit defaults, conflicts of interest, regulatory violations, and issues related to corruption, bribery, money laundering, and terrorism financing.
- Prepare detailed reports by documenting findings in a standardized, pre-defined template.
- Provide regular verbal and written updates on project progress to the project manager.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong research and writing abilities.
- Mandatory skill in analyzing and summarizing complex information in original and concise language.
- Above-average proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must hold a Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
- Hardworking, adaptable, and a quick learner with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure high-quality outcomes.
