Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a 24/5 global support environment, ensuring consistent service coverage.
- Primarily work during ANZ hours, with flexibility to adapt to different shifts as required.
- Prioritize user success by ensuring products effectively support their needs.
- Provide technical diagnosis and resolve issues related to specific Bentley products.
- Educate and guide users on proper workflows and best practices for Bentley products.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates on support cases, clearly communicating resolution progress.
- Proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive case resolution.
- Document and track software defects for continuous product improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of technical content, including Knowledgebase Articles and Community Posts.
- Participate in daily scrum calls to discuss and align on current and ongoing issues.
- Support content development across various formats such as videos, tutorials, blogs, and technical articles.
- Build strong relationships with users, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in engineering and technical support, ideally within a cloud-based environment.
- Demonstrate a strong user-first mindset with critical thinking and excellent troubleshooting abilities.
- Exhibit professionalism, patience, and empathy in user interactions.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong user-facing capabilities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed notes on support tickets to ensure clarity and continuity.
- Show strong technical acumen and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a simplified manner to both users and stakeholders.
- Display adaptability and a passion for learning to consistently deliver exceptional user outcomes.
- Ask insightful and targeted questions to quickly and efficiently identify product-related issues.
- Exhibit high emotional intelligence and attention to detail when interacting with users and documenting information.
- Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating closely with global colleagues.
- Manage time efficiently by prioritizing, scheduling, escalating, and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a proactive commitment to finding solutions.
Key Technical Assets:
- Familiarity with Bentley Systems’ products or capital infrastructure software.
- Exposure to design tools such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, or BIM.
- Basic understanding of databases such as MS Access and SQL is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks, such as ITIL, is preferred.
