About the Process & Role:
- Route shipments to distribution centers by building loads, managing load exceptions, assigning carriers, and calculating load ratings and fees using transportation management systems and other tools.
- Coordinate with team members to identify alternative solutions for exceptions and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.
- Troubleshoot shipment and load-related problems by identifying root causes, reassigning and tracking affected loads, and reporting exceptions to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate shipment updates and prepare daily reports for traffic leadership, merchandising, replenishment teams, carriers, and suppliers, ensuring timely and complete delivery to distribution centers, stores, clubs, and consolidators.
- Monitor supplier and carrier communications to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products.
- Provide customer service support to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and carriers by explaining Walmart procedures, collecting necessary shipment information, and entering it into the transportation system.
- Track and trace all purchase orders and pre-event loads, notify stakeholders of shipment statuses, and coordinate with consolidation and DC operations to meet delivery timelines.
- Expand process knowledge by participating in cross-training and classes, sharing expertise with peers, and occasionally testing new system functionalities.
- Execute daily work assignments by adhering to policies, using available data and tools, collaborating with teams, identifying priorities and exceptions, and recommending process improvements.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by applying best practices, utilizing the open-door policy, and integrating these principles into daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily requests related to incoming volumes and drive timely resolution.
- Monitor the team mailbox at regular intervals to ensure all queries are acknowledged and responded to within defined SLAs.
- Escalate potential high-risk requests to SMEs or managers for timely resolution and effective escalation management.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and the overall end-user experience.
- Support transition of new work within the team and coordinate effectively across different shifts.
- Exhibit strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Apply advanced problem-solving techniques and demonstrate project management capabilities.
- Take ownership of and drive key projects to completion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in access provisioning, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM).
- Familiarity with incident management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Procure It, and mainframe systems.
- Exposure to workflow and productivity tools, including CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and call center-style softphones.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
