Key Responsibilities:
- Develop applications that align with client objectives and user needs.
- Design, write, and maintain code for applications, including managing application databases.
- Analyze and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality, fix issues, and ensure compatibility with new hardware platforms.
- Optimize application performance by remodeling and adapting features as required.
- Identify and address specific client needs and preferences related to application development.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure applications are free from errors and bugs.
- Install applications and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders to gather information on project limitations, performance requirements, and system interfaces.
- Consult with clients during the design phase to understand and define their requirements.
- Prepare software documentation in compliance with company standards and templates.
- Participate in software product review meetings and team discussions.
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of computer science principles, including programming, application design, and user-centric development.

- Strong programming skills in multiple languages such as Java, Perl, Python, and C++.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to make critical, data-driven decisions that impact cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage client and customer issues with professionalism and tact.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in programming languages (e.g., Java, Perl, Python, C++) are preferred.
- Scrum or Project Management certification is an added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in Software Applications Engineering, Software Development, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Hands-on experience working with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong expertise in SQL and database management.
- Significant experience in project management and Agile development environments.
