Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and requirement analysis, create and design mapping documents, and present findings to relevant team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Identify best practices and provide recommendations for improving existing processes.
  • Possess knowledge of QNXT and schema structures.
  • Demonstrate expertise in healthcare and business domains, including member management, eligibility, third-party liability (TPL), claims processing, provider services, and pharmacy claims.
  • Exhibit strong SQL skills.
  • Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have experience in data mapping.
  • Possess hands-on experience in conversion, interface development, and reporting.
  • Develop program specifications and mapping documents.
  • Analyze data to identify transformation requirements and collaborate with ETL, reporting, and conversion teams to ensure code development aligns with business requirements.
  • Perform testing on interfaces and reports to verify compliance with business needs and work closely with other team members.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Create accurate mapping documents in accordance with the mapping process.
  • Work towards delivering a first draft solution to ETL, reporting, and conversion teams by quickly identifying which mapping details can be deferred.
  • Support the creation and response of Data Structure Definitions (DSD).
  • Present analysis and design recommendations to lead MITA teams, customers, and vendors to facilitate design acceptance.
  • Provide support to ETL, reporting, and conversion developers based on the created mappings.
  • Collaborate closely with the configuration team and database administrators (DBAs) to ensure alignment between configurations, interfaces, and mappings.
  • Refine mapping documents by adding details and addressing deferred material as queries are resolved.
  • Utilize SQL, data models, data element dictionaries, and schemas to conduct data and business analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and data analysis skills within a technical environment, preferably using SQL.
  • Possess healthcare knowledge within a claims processing environment, preferably in Medicaid.
