Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the support process and ensure requests for support are handled according to established procedures.
- Use service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, collect performance statistics, and create reports while collaborating with users, staff, and suppliers as required.
- Identify and resolve problems following agreed-upon procedures.
- Perform agreed maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and functionality.
- Utilize knowledge articles for incident diagnosis and resolution, and assist in updating them as needed.
- Monitor service delivery against service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain accurate records of relevant information.
- Regularly analyze service records against SLAs to identify required actions for maintaining or improving service levels and initiate or report those actions.
- Prioritize and diagnose incidents according to established procedures.
- Investigate incident causes and work toward resolution, escalating unresolved incidents and following up until they are resolved.
- Provide service recovery and ensure proper resolution of incidents.
- Document and close resolved incidents in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Maintain accurate, secure, complete, and up-to-date configuration records for configuration items (CIs).
- Apply tools, techniques, and processes to track, log, and correct CI-related information while protecting assets and components from unauthorized changes, diversion, or misuse.
- Investigate root causes of incidents remotely and assist with implementing agreed remedies and preventative measures.
- Maintain expertise in specific specializations and provide detailed advice regarding their application.
- Ensure efficient and comprehensive incident resolution, including coordinating product requests and working with other team members.
- Provide continuous feedback to clients and stakeholders, updating systems, portals, and ticketing tools per standard operating procedures.
- Identify problems and errors before or as they occur and log them with the required level of detail in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including client IT environments, vendors, carriers, and colleagues, to expedite error diagnosis and resolution.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Proficient in creating, understanding, and maintaining technical documentation.
- Familiar with management agent concepts, redundancy principles, and remote console architecture within the relevant technical domain.
- Knowledgeable about vendor technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and RiverBed.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in work.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
- Associate-level certification in networking technologies such as Cisco (CCNA), Juniper (JNCIA), Aruba (ACMA), F5, etc.
Required Experience:
- Basic knowledge and experience in networking technologies, including routing, switching, wireless, SDI distribution, core, and access layers.
- Entry-level experience in providing technical support to clients.
- Familiarity with diagnosing and troubleshooting networking issues.
- Hands-on experience providing remote support for networking technologies.
- Exposure to relevant technologies in a professional or academic setting.
