Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data scientists to design and build automated, deployable solutions using data orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for data science applications to enhance user experience and interaction with complex data.
- Support analytics and machine learning projects by assisting in the design and implementation of database solutions and data pipelines.
- Lead the integration of Python-based models with databases via RESTful APIs to enable real-time data processing and analytics.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and Git for version control to ensure code quality and efficient collaboration within the team.
- Deploy applications on AWS, optimizing cloud resources for cost-efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to internal tool and platform development using technologies like Django and Streamlit to improve productivity and accelerate project timelines.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies in data engineering and software development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree or other advanced degree in a field related to analytics, such as Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Operations Research, or Engineering.
- For Bachelor’s degree holders in the fields listed above, a strong academic record is required, demonstrating both application development skills and experience in the end-to-end delivery of analytical solutions, including hosting.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Ajax, and working with APIs (RESTful or otherwise), along with a coding language such as C or Java and intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Preferred, but not required, skills in Django and/or Streamlit.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, and deployment of Python-based solutions on these platforms, as well as familiarity with tools like Airflow, Snowflake, PySpark, Git, and Docker, is an added advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment with a collaborative, college-style working culture, where reaching out for support to improve client solutions is encouraged.
- At least 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in data engineering and software development for Master’s degree holders; or a minimum of 3 years of proven excellence for Bachelor’s degree holders.
- Proven skills in managing and delivering data-driven projects.
