Key Responsibilities:
- Build close partnerships with business units to identify and explore impactful analytics opportunities and operational improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish a monitoring framework for business initiatives and promptly alert business units in case of any issues.
- Support data requests and perform data analysis for tax audits.
- Develop advanced data visualizations and insight-driven analytics to inform decision-making.
- Conduct post-launch monitoring to measure the performance of new features and programs, and report results to product and business teams.
- Promote a self-serve analytics culture by educating partners on key reports, data sources, and best practices for data interpretation.
- Maintain close, proactive collaboration with other business functions such as Customer Services, Legal, and Finance to ensure cross-functional visibility and alignment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and the ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent technical skills for data analysis and process development, with a focus on SQL.
- Proficient in data visualization and self-serve tools such as Tableau.
- Python and Alteryx skills are considered valuable additions.
- Proven track record of end-to-end analytics, including problem definition, data collection, analysis, synthesizing results, presenting a compelling argument, and influencing partners to take action.
- Experience in handling big data platforms such as Hadoop and Teradata, with exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into effective software solutions.
- Capable of working independently while contributing as part of a global tax team.
- Experience in advanced analytics, with solid knowledge of SQL and Python programming, is advantageous.
