Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle for network management features, from requirements analysis and design through development and testing.
- Develop microservice components and integrate open-source software to support various Network Management System (NMS) platform functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through code reviews, pair programming, and technical design discussions.
- Contribute to software architecture improvements and optimize development processes to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Design and develop robust and scalable solutions to support optical and transport network operations.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, troubleshoot software defects, and optimize NMS application performance.
- Stay updated on the latest AI-assisted software development techniques and tools and apply them to improve development efficiency and productivity.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Have 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with EMS/NMS products.
- Possess proficiency in Java, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and AI-assisted software development techniques.
- Have hands-on experience using AI-enabled development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
- Have a good understanding of Agile methodologies, software engineering principles, and design patterns.
- Possess experience working with SQL databases, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Have a strong understanding of network technologies, including Ethernet, IP, and DWDM.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
