Key Responsibilities:
- Develop analytical solutions and data products to improve targeting accuracy, personalization, and digital acquisition performance across the end-to-end digital customer journey.
- Own end-to-end analytical projects focused on audience segmentation, experimentation, funnel optimization, and identifying opportunities to improve digital acquisition.
- Build and enhance analytical models and decision-making strategies by leveraging American Express’s extensive first-party data and evolving digital intelligence capabilities.
- Apply emerging AI and Generative AI (GenAI) techniques, including intelligent customer journey optimization, semantic modeling, and automated insights, to enhance targeting precision and analytical productivity.
- Drive experimentation, performance measurement, and investment optimization by designing test frameworks, evaluating results, and providing actionable recommendations to improve conversion rates and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across American Express to ensure the successful implementation of analytical solutions and maximize business impact.
- Synthesize complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate strategic implications to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement by introducing new ideas in digital analytics, advanced modeling techniques, GenAI use cases, and scalable data automation to strengthen and future-proof the digital acquisition engine.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex and ambiguous business challenges.
- Have experience building and implementing machine learning models, such as XGBoost and K-Means, along with proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- Demonstrate experience working with digital analytics or experimentation frameworks; knowledge in these areas is an added advantage.
- Possess experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and using data-driven insights to support business decisions.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in digital marketing analytics, personalization, website optimization, or digital acquisition strategy.
- Familiarity with digital ecosystem technologies and tools, such as clickstream analytics platforms, identity frameworks, and real-time recommendation systems.
- Demonstrate familiarity with and an interest in applying emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities to improve digital targeting and customer acquisition outcomes.
