Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data processing, analysis, quality assurance, and reporting of actionable insights.
- Deliver routine and ad-hoc analytical outputs while continuously developing a broader understanding of business requirements and context.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements for data analysis, reporting, and related deliverables.
- Assist in implementing data-driven solutions and supporting business strategies through effective analysis and insights.
- Perform complex and diverse assignments, demonstrating technical expertise and specialized functional knowledge.
- Assess and manage risks appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations while upholding the firm’s ethical standards and protecting the interests of Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on business or financial analytics.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages such as SAS, Python, and SQL, along with experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hive, Impala, and PySpark is preferred.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and their applications in data analysis is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence resources outside of direct reporting lines to achieve business objectives.
- Previous experience in the banking or credit card industry is preferred.
