Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing software solutions and functionalities that support business growth and organizational objectives.
- Contribute to writing, testing, and maintaining high-quality, reliable, and efficient code.
- Support the execution of automated testing to ensure software quality and performance.
- Participate in software deployment activities by following instructions and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Assist in delivering software components while working closely with Product, Development, and other cross-functional teams.
- Support the integration and development of software solutions through automation, coding, and the use of third-party tools and technologies.
- Contribute to the design, development, and debugging of large-scale distributed systems under the guidance of senior team members.
- Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation, end-user guides, and operational procedures to ensure accurate project documentation.
- Assist in refactoring existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and code quality.
- Participate in code reviews by providing constructive feedback and incorporating best coding practices.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support project and business requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification is preferred.
- Agile-related certifications will be considered an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of cloud architecture and services across public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Node.js, along with familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of microservices-based software architecture and API development concepts.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXC/LXD.
- Understanding of Agile, Lean, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
- Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and related tools.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and cloud-native application development.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and continuously evolving work environment.
Required Experience:
- Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams across innovation, pilot, and production phases while delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Hands-on experience with tools used throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), source control systems, Continuous Integration (CI) tools, testing frameworks, mocking tools, work tracking, and defect management systems.
- Practical experience working with Agile, Lean, Continuous Delivery (CD), DevOps, and data-driven development practices.
- Familiarity with large datasets and a basic understanding of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and algorithms.
- Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience in software development using modern programming languages, frameworks, and development practices.
