Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction, analyze financial drivers, and leverage analytical insights to develop recommendations for key stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for assigned functions or business units, addressing financial challenges and supporting strategic business initiatives through data-driven insights.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing inputs for monthly expense and capital reviews and analyzing variances using operational and financial data.
- Interpret and evaluate financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop a strong understanding of the organization’s financial processes, operations, and business objectives to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in month-end and period-end financial close activities, including variance analysis, trend identification, and financial forecasting aligned with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of internal and external financial reporting.
- Apply financial and analytical principles to support projects through research, data analysis, and actionable insights, while providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
- Support high-priority initiatives by collaborating with internal stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships, and delivering standardized reports and performance updates.
- Analyze financial performance trends and key metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by enhancing reporting processes, analytical frameworks, and financial planning activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating relevant competence.
- Typically 0–2 years of professional experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Understanding of auditing processes and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with automation tools and process optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of corporate finance concepts and financial management practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial data interpretation.
- Understanding of economic principles and their business impact.
- Knowledge of finance concepts, financial markets, and financial services.
- Ability to perform financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of internal controls and risk management practices.
- Familiarity with investment principles and financial instruments.
- Ability to monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Knowledge of Profit and Loss (P&L) management and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in SAP applications and financial systems.
