Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong data interpretation capabilities and present insights through effective data visualization techniques to deliver meaningful and actionable business recommendations.
- Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses or data lakes, ensuring data quality, organization, and accessibility.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Follow quality assurance standards and best practices, utilizing testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and tools to ensure solution reliability and accuracy.
- Lead bug triage activities by identifying, documenting, analyzing, and prioritizing issues based on business impact and urgency.
- Optimize dashboard and report performance by improving data processing workflows, refining queries, and enhancing data models for efficient and timely analytics.
- Automate Business Intelligence processes, including data extraction, transformation, visualization, testing, and deployment, to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate security controls and adhering to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of BI processes, methodologies, and solution guidelines, ensuring accessibility for all relevant stakeholders.
- Deploy dashboards and Business Intelligence solutions in accordance with user requirements and VISA standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a BI Engineer, Data Visualization Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with shared services, consulting, or financial services domains is considered a strong advantage.
- Certifications in data visualization tools such as Tableau Certified Data Analyst or Power BI Data Analyst are preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in data visualization and Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js.
- Strong expertise in LOD (Level of Detail), DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query, M Language, and Tableau Prep for data transformation and measure creation.
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, using analytical functions, and optimizing performance, along with experience in Hadoop/Hive, schema design, indexing, and advanced scripting.
- Ability to create UI/UX prototypes using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Proto.io, and Marvel.
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
- Capable of delivering high-quality, accurate, and secure BI solutions through effective execution, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on excellence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts, influence decision-making, facilitate discussions, and confidently engage with senior global stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments, manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
