Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions as a Software Test Engineer.
  • Work on advanced products supporting scientific research, including mass spectrometry instruments and laboratory automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies.
  • Ensure software products meet high-quality standards through effective testing and validation processes.
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation while contributing to the organization’s mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance technical and professional skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field; prior experience is not mandatory.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain ISTQB or equivalent software testing certifications (preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and quality control processes.
  • Exhibit proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Have experience working with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or JUnit.
  • Be skilled in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test protocols.
  • Show experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be capable of working effectively within a matrix organization structure.
  • Have experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of performance testing and API testing.
  • Be able to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Show willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment testing will be considered an added advantage.
