Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sourcing, analysis, research, data entry, maintenance, and quality control of exploration and production well and log data within the S&P Global US Energy database.
- Process, enter, and validate well-related information in the Oracle database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support data sourcing activities related to exploration and production operations within the assigned region.
- Manage and maintain historical data entries in the database to ensure completeness and reliability.
- Participate in data improvement initiatives, including global, country, basin, or area-level reviews conducted by the team.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of data collected from multiple sources.
- Assist the team in daily operational activities to achieve defined goals and performance targets.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology.
- Demonstrate good computer proficiency with a solid working knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of petroleum geology and key drilling procedures.
- Have prior experience in the oil and gas industry, which is considered an advantage.
- Show interest in managing and handling geotechnical information effectively.
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret and convert technical data into structured formats suitable for database entry.
- Be proficient in using core MS Excel functions for data analysis and management.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
