Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test strategies for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Design and develop E2E automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance efficiency and streamline testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop as well as refine detailed test plans.
- Drive test automation across all stages of the testing lifecycle, including unit testing, system testing, UI testing, E2E testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Execute test cases, analyze test results, identify defects, and work towards timely resolution of issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall quality assurance practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and development.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing with a strong focus on software development practices.
- Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and test automation methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in performance testing and security testing methodologies.
- Strong development background in back-end and/or front-end technologies.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or ASTQB.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and associated tools.
- Familiarity with the telecom domain will be considered an added advantage.
