Key Responsibilities:
Platform Development and Evangelism:
- Build scalable, customer-facing AI platforms that support business requirements and ensure high performance and reliability.
- Evangelize and promote the platform among customers and internal stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption.
- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance to effectively meet evolving business needs.
Machine Learning Pipeline Design:
- Design machine learning pipelines for experiment management, model lifecycle management, feature management, and model retraining.
- Implement A/B testing frameworks to evaluate and compare model performance.
- Design and develop APIs to enable scalable and efficient model inferencing.
- Utilize platforms such as MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, and Azure AI for model development and deployment.
LLM Serving and GPU Architecture:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Large Language Model (LLM) serving paradigms and deployment strategies.
- Apply deep knowledge of GPU architectures to optimize model training and inference processes.
- Implement distributed training and serving techniques for large language models.
- Develop model and data parallel training solutions using frameworks such as DeepSpeed and service frameworks such as vLLM.
Model Fine-Tuning and Optimization:
- Perform model fine-tuning and optimization to improve accuracy, performance, and latency.
- Optimize training workflows to reduce computational costs and resource requirements for fine-tuning LLM and LVM models.
LLM Models and Use Cases:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of different LLM models and their capabilities.
- Provide insights on the suitability and applicability of various models based on specific use cases.
- Deliver end-to-end AI solutions, from engineering and development to production deployment, tailored to customer requirements.
DevOps and LLMOps Proficiency:
- Implement DevOps and LLMOps practices to support scalable AI development and deployment.
- Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Apply LLM orchestration frameworks such as Flowise, Langflow, and LangGraph to manage AI workflows and integrations.
Communication & Articulation:
- Communicate complex AI and machine learning concepts clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Present AI strategies, architectural decisions, and results to senior executives while highlighting business impact.
- Lead cross-functional discussions to clarify technical challenges and achieve engineering consensus.
- Influence stakeholders and secure support for proposed technical solutions and design approaches.
Continuous Innovation & Adaptive Learning:
- Continuously track emerging AI research, frameworks, and industry design patterns.
- Validate new concepts through rapid experimentation and iterative “fail-fast” testing approaches.
- Translate emerging AI advancements into practical improvements for production systems.
- Demonstrate a proactive and self-driven commitment to learning and adopting evolving AI technologies.
