Key Responsibilities:
- Test, validate, and automate Web GUI and REST API functionalities across the Mist Cloud platform to ensure high software quality for every release.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for both UI and API using Python-based testing frameworks.
- Perform staging smoke tests, production validations, and comprehensive regression testing to ensure system stability and reliability.
- Analyze the Mist UI and API architecture to identify potential gaps and recommend improvements for enhanced design, stability, and test coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects and enhancement requests while collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and update test plans to support continuous regression testing and expand overall automation coverage.
- Build, monitor, and maintain test environments to ensure reliable execution of automated tests and accurate reporting of results.
- Prepare and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for QA and Support teams.
- Collaborate with Customer Success teams to investigate customer-reported issues, reproduce defects, and convert them into regression test cases to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently while working effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in team meetings during early or late hours as required to support global and international stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess 0–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
- Hold a BE / ME / MS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming with solid programming fundamentals.
- Have hands-on experience working with Selenium and pytest testing frameworks.
- Possess practical experience in testing Web applications and REST APIs.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Communicate project status, risks, and blockers clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Be willing to work in an onsite model (5 days per week).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in troubleshooting UI and API-related issues.
- Experience in writing and maintaining detailed regression test cases.
- Familiarity with Django-based RESTful APIs.
- Basic knowledge of networking technologies and concepts.
- Demonstrate a self-starter attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
