Key Responsibilities:

  • Join the Access domain team to contribute to the development of scalable and secure data engineering pipelines as part of a strategic company initiative.
  • Support the design, development, and optimization of data processing and analytics pipelines to enhance platform performance and reliability.
  • Develop and adopt a strong “Data Champion” mindset by applying best practices in data quality, reliability, governance, and observability.
  • Work on real-world data engineering challenges to improve system resiliency, scalability, and overall platform stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and analysis across platforms.
  • Utilize modern data technologies and cloud services, including Hive, Spark, Flink, Presto, Snowflake, Looker, Power BI, and AWS, along with Apache ecosystem tools, to build and maintain robust data solutions.
  • Continuously learn and enhance technical capabilities while contributing to high-quality, impact-driven data initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Possess 1–3 years of professional experience, or strong internship experience, in data engineering, big data, or data analytics.
  • Have at least one year of exposure to Spark, PySpark, or distributed data processing concepts.
  • Demonstrate programming proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
  • Exhibit a foundational understanding of SQL, data modeling principles, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Hive or Snowflake.
  • Exposure to ETL workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with notebook-based development environments such as Jupyter or similar tools.
  • Academic or practical exposure to streaming or event-driven architectures.
