Key Responsibilities:
Perform Data Governance and Integration:
- Implement data governance frameworks using tools such as Azure Purview to ensure data consistency, compliance, and security standards are maintained.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to enable accurate, reliable, and efficient data consolidation for analytical purposes.
- Manage and process various data formats, including JSON, CSV, and XML, ensuring compatibility with analytics and reporting tools.
Design and Build Analytical Solutions:
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions to support diverse business analytics requirements.
- Design schemas and define metadata structures to enable effective organization, discovery, and management of data across storage platforms.
- Apply data modeling techniques, such as star schema and snowflake schema, to design optimized data structures for business intelligence and reporting.
Optimize and Manage Data Workflows:
- Analyze and resolve data governance and data quality issues to ensure reliability and accuracy within analytics workflows.
- Optimize data pipelines and reporting processes by implementing performance enhancement strategies such as caching, indexing, and partitioning.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
Implement and Validate Analytical Dashboards:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI to deliver real-time and actionable business insights.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency in dashboards by reconciling outputs with source systems.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Collaborate and Communicate Insights:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analytical requirements and deliver meaningful, data-driven insights.
- Document data flows, data models, and dashboard functionalities to ensure transparency, maintainability, and ease of use.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences using clear visual storytelling techniques.
Manage and Maintain Data Assets:
- Monitor data storage systems and analytical pipelines to ensure data accuracy, availability, and reliability.
- Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and data validation tasks.
- Develop and maintain reusable datasets, reports, and templates to enhance efficiency and standardization across analytical workflows.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data management principles, including data governance, integration, and security practices.
- Possess foundational knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Skills:
- Have familiarity with data management and analytics platforms such as Azure Purview, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Python, along with a solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema and snowflake schema.
- Possess exposure to working with diverse data formats, including JSON, CSV, and XML, for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrate the ability to leverage AI tools, such as copilots, to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation in projects.
- Have knowledge of data governance practices, including metadata management and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Exhibit the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and document data workflows and analytical pipelines effectively.
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
