Key Responsibilities:
QA Primary Activities:
- Perform comprehensive testing of SharePoint and VBA tools, data analytics dashboards, and enterprise applications.
- Test client-facing solutions that have a direct impact on business revenue.
- Participate in requirements-gathering discussions to understand business and functional expectations.
- Execute testing in accordance with Deloitte standards (e.g., copyright, visual identity) and established guidelines (e.g., style guides, checklists).
- Support internal testing cycles and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop detailed test cases, test materials, documentation, and procedures as required.
- Validate developed supporting materials and related deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and test internally developed and maintained project documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and quality standards.
Compliance and Standards Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with established development guidelines across all projects.
- Apply Deloitte standards (e.g., copyright, visual identity) and guidelines (e.g., style guides, checklists) throughout tool development initiatives.
- Provide inputs to enhance tool guidelines and promote consistency across projects.
- Ensure all tools adhere to Deloitte standards and approved methodologies.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation to support and enforce compliance requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in testing technical tools and applications using both manual and automation testing approaches.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and the manual testing lifecycle.
- Experience or exposure to testing solutions built using SharePoint 2010/2013, Microsoft Office applications, and analytics dashboards.
- Understanding of modern testing techniques, including black-box, unit, functional, sanity, stress, and usability testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Azure DevOps, and quality frameworks such as Six Sigma and Lean concepts.
- Sound understanding of defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution processes.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrates a proactive testing mindset with an approach to “test to break” applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and suggest process and quality improvements.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
