Key Responsibilities:
Finance Process Analysis:
- Collaborate with Finance process owners and cross-functional teams to analyze and document process requirements, including data needs, transformations, and reporting or analytical outputs.
- Partner with product teams to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and maintain a prioritized backlog of data requirements and user stories.
- Document processing requirements such as data and transaction volumes, scalability, security, and performance expectations.
Solution Design:
- Work closely with Technology teams, Finance stakeholders, and source system owners to identify and source required data, ensuring the data architecture supports Finance accounting, reporting, and analytics needs.
- Identify reference data requirements and design processes for the collection, maintenance, and governance of reference data.
- Document future-state Finance processes for data acquisition, enrichment, provisioning, and reporting or analytics.
Build and Deployment:
- Coordinate with Technology teams, Finance partners, source system owners, and other stakeholders to deploy solutions across the appropriate Finance user base.
- Build, test, and deploy data solutions to acquire, enrich, and provision required data while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Perform data validation activities to support Finance user testing and acceptance.
- Execute system integration testing and pre–user acceptance testing to ensure solution readiness and reliability.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Management, Finance, Accounting, Data Management, or a related field.
- Possesses prior work experience across multiple Finance disciplines, including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Banking, and data management or other data-related projects.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of relational database principles and data management concepts, with working knowledge of SQL or other query languages.
- Has a basic understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery concepts.
- Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with effective relationship management skills.
- Has experience collaborating closely with Technology teams to deploy systems, re-engineer business processes, and address complex business challenges.
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
- Is self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality service that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
