Key Responsibilities:
- Design robust and scalable APIs and drive seamless integration between data layers and customer-facing applications and components.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests in production environments to evaluate and measure the impact of new or enhanced features.
- Contribute actively to the development of complex, multi-tier, distributed software applications.
- Design layered application architectures encompassing user interfaces, business logic, and database access layers.
- Collaborate with software developers and quality engineers to build innovative solutions that meet evolving market and business requirements.
- Estimate engineering efforts, plan implementation activities, and manage the rollout of system enhancements and changes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of payment products to enhance quality, reliability, and performance.
- Engage in requirement gathering and design review meetings with Product Development (PD) and Quality Engineering (QE) teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have 2+ years of experience building large-scale, distributed web platforms or APIs, with end-to-end ownership of product scope across multiple domains.
- Demonstrate experience in server-side development using Java.
- Show proficiency with the Spring framework.
- Apply strong object-oriented design principles and established design patterns.
- Develop and maintain RESTful services.
- Work effectively within Agile development methodologies.
- Possess experience in multi-threaded application development.
- Have working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL).
