Key Responsibilities:
- Perform moderately complex financial analyses, including both transactional and analytical activities, for specific business units or functional areas.
- Analyze complex business issues and deliver actionable insights and analytics to support key business initiatives and decision-making.
- Conduct financial analyses to identify trends, evaluate relationships, and develop financial ratios used in forecasting and modeling.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of organizational financial processes and gain in-depth knowledge of company operations and business models.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of financial analysis objectives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of internal and external financial reports.
- Collaborate with department leaders to support the development of annual budgets and long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver recurring and ad-hoc financial reports for management, executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop well-reasoned conclusions, recommendations, and written reports by proactively conducting research and data analysis, while contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.
- Work independently on moderately scoped assignments, applying professional judgment and expertise to resolve issues in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
- Possess a four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent professional experience or competence.
- Typically have 2–4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field; alternatively, hold an advanced degree with limited or no prior work experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing practices.
- Experience in automation and process optimization within finance functions.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, financial services, and investment concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis, financial analysis, and financial modeling techniques.
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- In-depth understanding of financial statements and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of internal controls, profit and loss (P&L) management, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Experience working with SAP applications and financial systems.
- Ability to drive process improvement initiatives through analytical insights.
