Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical projects end-to-end, from initiation through planning, execution, and successful completion.
- Ensure all projects are aligned with organizational goals, strategic objectives, and business priorities.
- Coordinate effectively with engineering, technical, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify potential project risks and issues proactively and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management on a regular basis.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable engineering standards, quality guidelines, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed technical and functional specifications.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, views, and functions, with a strong focus on performance tuning.
- Analyze and work with diverse data sets related to payments, finance, and financial applications.
- Contribute to ETL processes and operate effectively within data warehouse environments.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VBA, to support data analysis and automation needs.
- Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to derive insights and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate closely with business users and engineering teams to brainstorm, evaluate, and implement optimal technical solutions.
- Initiate, document, and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, and related documentation.
- Assess and understand the impact of projects and products on financial applications and associated business requirements.
- Review, analyze, and resolve production defects and issues to support business users.
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline recurring and manual processes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of dashboards and business intelligence reports, including their design, functionality, and usage.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate experience in database programming, with a strong preference for writing stored procedures in SAP HANA.
- Have hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and analytics workflows.
- Possess working knowledge of SAP FPSL, which is considered an added advantage.
- Be proficient in Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting purposes.
- Have exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bring 3+ years of experience in SAP and analytics within the payment industry, financial services, or management consulting environments.
- Be willing to participate in rotational 24×7 on-call support as part of operational responsibilities.
- Be available to work with overlapping US Central Time hours, with preferred working hours from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST.
- Have proven experience in writing stored procedures in SAP HANA or similar database platforms.
- Possess experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, or business intelligence solutions.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Business Objects.
- Have prior experience working in a production or operations-focused environment.
