Role Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the design, development, and enhancement of data engineering applications, while providing ongoing guidance and support to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution.
- Lead the design and development of new solutions using modern technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by rigorously testing developed solutions and contributing within an Agile development framework.
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technology trends to build innovative, scalable, and high-value data solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Demonstrates in-depth experience with Apache Spark (PySpark), including a strong understanding of Spark architecture, core APIs, and distributed data processing concepts.
- Possesses hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka, and related data ecosystem tools.
- Exhibits strong data engineering fundamentals, including ETL pipeline development, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Shows advanced proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on large-scale data processing and data manipulation.
- Has working knowledge of data processing frameworks and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Demonstrates strong SQL proficiency, with experience in writing optimized queries for large-scale data analysis and data transformation.
- Has experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including the use of cloud-based storage services.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Ability to define, drive, and implement architecture strategies and standards for end-to-end system monitoring.
- Collaborates effectively with cross-functional technology teams, including application development, enterprise architecture, testing services, and network engineering.
- Familiarity with detection and prevention tools supporting company platforms, products, and customer-facing systems is an added advantage.
