Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support across a wide range of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions.
- Analyze and support the design, operation, maintenance, performance, and repair of aircraft and their components.
- Apply structured and logical problem-solving approaches to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations.
- Assist in defining aircraft maintenance programs, configurations, and engineering standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate technical solutions and assess the cost-benefit impact of engineering projects and aircraft modifications.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address technical issues, recommend work scopes, and support failure investigations.
- Manage engineering projects of increasing complexity as experience is gained across aircraft programs.
- Support various engineering departments based on organizational and operational requirements.
- Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent platforms.
- Support cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to automate workflows and improve software delivery processes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Assist in containerization and orchestration activities using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in troubleshooting deployment, environment, and infrastructure issues and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix command-line environments and basic shell scripting.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or academic project experience in DevOps, cloud computing, or system administration.
- Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated build and deployment pipelines.
- Experience or exposure to Harness platform implementation is preferred.
