Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process data efficiently, and perform programming tasks as required.
- Support the delivery of new or enhanced capabilities by defining requirements and/or leading implementation projects.
- Translate business needs into detailed solution requirements and prepare functional as well as non-functional specifications.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to existing products, tools, and processes.
- Develop automated solutions for sourcing and loading fundamental data into databases.
- Analyze legal entity data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Design and build data extraction solutions for multiple document formats.
- Develop, enhance, and execute quantitative models to support business objectives.
- Apply machine learning techniques to generate innovative solutions for core business processes.
- Collaborate with business, content, and product teams to address large-scale analytical challenges.
- Build proof-of-concept models, visualizations, and data pipeline tools to support product design and development.
- Work closely with development teams to deploy and integrate analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with other internal teams as required, under appropriate supervision.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date process documentation.
- Conduct testing and validation of developed tools, models, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Data Science certification is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive experience in programming with Python or equivalent languages.
- Hands-on experience in implementing AI/ML technologies, including Agentic systems and LLM/SLM models.
- Proficient in designing, developing, and deploying advanced statistical models using machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Strong understanding of core statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
- Proficient in using Python libraries such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas for data manipulation and modeling.
- Skilled in working with at least one deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and web scraping methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude with an analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction and management.
- Good knowledge of REST API architecture and containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Ability to manage and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data effectively.
- Proficiency in data visualization and storytelling, with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to present work clearly to peers, senior management, and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of project experience in Data Science within the finance domain is preferred.
