Role and Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and support.
- Develop software solutions that support clients in their hybrid-cloud and AI transformation journeys.
- Work with the latest technologies to build high-performing, reliable, and scalable applications.
- Ensure applications are responsive, maintainable, and meet performance and availability standards.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing system failures in collaboration with architects and technical leaders.
- Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Participate in all stages of the development process, including design, development, testing, release management, and troubleshooting, while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Innovative Coding Solutions: Drive key discussions with stakeholders, assess the current system landscape, and identify opportunities to implement innovative and efficient coding solutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Must have no active backlogs at the time of application.
- This is an entry-level off-campus hiring position; candidates must have completed their degree before the start of employment with IBM.
- Year of graduation should be 2025 only.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (including specializations such as CSE, AIML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, CSBS, IoT, Robotics, AI, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, etc.) with a minimum of 6 CGPA or 60%.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Strong engineering background with good problem-solving abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work from any location within India.
